Ross y Guill

2017 | Graduation performance Actors and Scenographers., Universidad de Chile. – Santiago, Chile
The play “Ross y Guil” is inspired by Tom Stoppard´s “Rossencrants and Guildernstern are dead”. With a tragicomedy tone, the story follows Ross and Guil, childhood friends of Prince Hamlet, who find themselves at the service of the Shakespearean tragedy.
The play explores what happens behind the scenes with these characters, while the protagonists of the original Hamlet take center stage. Through this unique perspective, the production seeks to reflect on our roles in the world, freedom, destiny, and other existential themes.
